Speaker Partners
Lorraine Richardson
With decades of experience as a property solicitor, Lorraine is a highly sought-after conference speaker and mentor.
She designs and delivers a variety of property and legal skills related courses, including webinars, online classes, as well as the main contributor for the monthly updating service, the ‘Practical Lawyer’.
With both practice and teaching experience, Lorraine works for a number of professional bodies and teaching institutions on a consultancy basis. In addition to public CPD courses on conveyancing, compliance and legal skills, she also works closely with law firms to deliver bespoke, in house training.
Katie Jackson
Katie is a former regulator with twenty years’ experience in legal services. She has worked in enforcement and investigation for the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and was a senior Inspector for the Council for Licensed Conveyancers, where her remit included working directly with conveyancing practices with a turnover of £10 - £20 million per year. Training, learning and assessment have also featured as part of Katie’s career, and she enjoyed a period as a consultant at Ofqual.
Since leaving the regulators, Katie has focused on management consultancy with law firms, including resolving SRA and CLC regulatory enquiries, and developing compliance solutions. Building on her specialism in learning and assessment, Katie has delivered compliance and anti money laundering training for some of the largest CPD training organisations in the country.
Ian Quayle
Ian qualified as a solicitor and worked in private practice for 13 years specialising in property law matters including residential development work, commercial acquisitions and disposals.
Ian has delivered over 1500 property related training courses for city and regional firms, local law societies and local authorities. His training style and delivery is relaxed, but he is able to explain the law and practical issues relating to the training topic in a way that ensures delegates learn, or reinforce learning, and derive meaningful benefit from the training provided.
Ian has provided training to businesses in-house, public courses, and spoken at conferences. He is prolific in his delivery of webinars on conveyancing related issues, and he has delivered live and pre-recorded webinars nationally and internationally for both of the leading legal training providers and continues to do so.
Unusually, Ian is able to deliver training in both commercial and residential property fields generating courses on a myriad of topics some of which are of general application and others more specialist and focused. Bespoke training courses are available depending on individual business requirements. In addition to training qualified legal staff, Ian has taught a number of training courses aimed at support staff.
Richard Snape
Richard has been the Head of Professional Support at Davitt Jones Bould since 2002. His areas of specialism include both commercial and residential property, in particular in relation to local government law, conveyancing issues, development land, commercial property and encumbrances in relation to land.
Richard Bray - Move Reports UK
Richard is the Managing Director of Move Reports UK Ltd and has been in the property search industry for over 2 decades providing searches and property data reports to conveyancers, estate agents and property professionals. He was one of the pioneers of the evolvement of a ‘Personal’ local search into becoming a ‘Regulated’ lender approved local search, which is now the conveyancers preferred choice.
He sat on the government working group compiling legislation for
the now defunct Home Information Packs (HIPS) and today is both
an Executive member and Board Director of CoPSO (The Council of Property Search Organisations) ‘the Search Code’ with oversight of the search industry regulator PCCB (Property Codes and Compliance Board). This enables Richard to participate on many Industry and Government panels and working groups with the remit to speed up the conveyancing process in the digital era.
Mike Georgiou - Navro Compliance

Managing Director of Navro Compliance, a UK Legaltech company creating integrated online solutions, such as ‘LC-5’ Part 2 Lender Check & the recent launch of ‘ART’ Report on Title, developed to assist residential property conveyancers in their daily workflow to boost productivity, improve client service, whilst reducing time and cost.
